A freeware version of Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM for systems using a Microsoft Windows based operating system is included on the CD-ROM.
To install the software find the file acrobat.exe, double-click on the icon and follow the instructions for installation.
Copies of Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM for other platforms may be obtained from Adobe's Homepage at http://www.adobe.com.
Navigation of files on this CD-ROM
This report utilizes an unique approach to disseminating information both on the Internet and from CD-ROM. The method used is similar to that already in place on the internet for web sites; that is several individual pages connected by hyperlinks. However, in order to maintain the highest fidelity in both viewing and printing, PDF format was chosen instead of HTML.
Navigation of this report is conducted by selecting hyperlink buttons similar to that of web pages. An example of the buttons follows.
Adobe Reader has buttons that have a similar function to those of a web browser. These buttons, found on the toolbar, are designed to help navigation within any PDF file. The following diagram may help illustrate where these buttons are located and what they look like.
By using these buttons, it is possible to navigate to every PDF file that composes this report. Navigation may also be done using the bookmarks in ESR2001-20.PDF.
Once you have installed Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM you may view, print, or download data in the report by opening ESR2001-20.PDF.
It is recommended that the user access the report through this CD-ROM. If the user prefers to download the content of this CD-ROM to a computer hard drive, the directory structure of the CD-ROM must be maintained to keep hyperlinks intact and active.
