- Description:
      Abstract: This grid represents the hydraulic head distribution in the Granite Wash in Alberta. The grid is a result of a geostatistical model constructed using pressure data from oil and gas well drillstem tests and a reference formation water density of 1.117 g/cm3, representative of formation waters in the Gilwood Member (Watt Mountain Formation) and Granite Wash.The hydraulic head surface was mapped at a regional scale using many years of data, thus providing a general indication of regional groundwater flow within the unit rather than site-specific values.
      Purpose: To provide a gridded dataset representing the distribution of hydraulic head in the Granite Wash in Alberta.

  Logical_Consistency_Report: Grid cell spacing is 500 m by 500 m. Grid cells with no data are assigned the value -9999.
  Completeness_Report: The final gridded surface was clipped based on the Granite Wash extent and the spatial distribution of data. Interpolation was extended into data-sparse areas where the hydraulic head trend appeared reasonable.
