Process Description:
A scanned image of the original map (JPG) was georeferenced against the hydrography coverage data and rectified in ArcInfo. Approximately 20 control points were used to register the image. Polygon outlines were digitized in 'heads-up' mode in ArcEdit, and tagged with their descriptive attributes according to the map legend.
